A Great Day Out For The Family!

 

Now in its 15th year this ever popular event continues to draw crowds from all over the country.

The funds generated are essential to help keep The Mill and its Nature Reserve open for all to enjoy as a visitor attraction. Please help keep our rural heritage alive and come along to our 2017 Steam Fair and Country Show.

Highlights for this year’s arena attraction include David Seamarks Sheepdog demonstration, Stunt Riders Live Tour, The Paws For Thought dog display team, Medieval Combat Society and many many more attractions including the ever popular Traction Engine Tug of War.

Description

A warm welcome to Stotfold Mill

Stotfold Watermill, in its idyllic setting on the River Ivel, Bedfordshire is unique. Having burnt down in 1992, it is now a completely rebuilt Grade II listed watermill with three fully access able floors to view.

GETTING THERE:

CAR : Postcode for Satnav SG5 4NU (Mill Lane). Stotfold is easily accessible by road, from the west via A507, or the A1M J10. The car park which includes designated disabled bays for disabled parking and a cycle rack is situated in the Nature Reserve.  Parking is free.

TRAIN / BUS:

The nearest train stations are Arlesey and Letchworth Garden City. Both stations connect to Stotford Mill via the number 97 bus.

ON FOOT:

Walking to the Mill from either railway station is not recommended.
